Key Responsibilities- Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with Contracting Officers and NGA Contracts leadership to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Contractual Guidance: Provide expert guidance to Executive Leadership on complex contractual issues, ensuring the corporation's interests are protected.
- Proposal Preparation: Lead the development of proposal preparation, including the creation of OCI mitigation plans, cost volume reviews, and oversight of model contracts and intellectual property considerations.
- Contract Assessment: Assess terms and conditions to ensure the corporation is protected from unusual risk and sustains or improves Peraton's long-range plan.
- Programmatic Matters: Work on a wide range of complex programmatic matters and provide advice and counsel on contractual and procurement-related matters.
- Customer Relationship Development: Develop and maintain customer relationships to ensure positive and constructive interactions.
- Contractual and Business Guidance: Provide guidance to line staff and management on contractual and business issues, including risk/benefit analysis.
- Strategic Initiatives: Support or lead strategic and business optimization initiatives to drive performance standards for contractual programs.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate subcontracts, teaming, and non-disclosure agreements to achieve optimal operational performance.
- Contract Administration: Manage and administer company contracts, including contract negotiations, to achieve company annual operating plan.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Review and resolve issues affecting company compliance and ensure the satisfaction of legal requirements, Company, and customer objectives.
- Contractual Rights and Obligations: Advise management of contractual rights and obligations, identifying risk areas and mitigation strategies, and provide interpretation of terms and conditions.
- Bid Development: Provide strategic guidance to completion on more complex bids.
- Team Management: Manage a team of contract administrators.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree plus 10 years of relevant experience or 8 years with a Master's degree. Additional work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- NGA Experience: 5 years of experience working with NGA.
- Contracting Knowledge: In-depth knowledge about federal government contracting, to include federal acquisition process and regulations.
- Business Acumen: Business acumen with the ability to think critically and develop creative and practical solutions.
- Organizational Conflict of Interest Mitigation: In-depth knowledge on developing organizational conflict of interest mitigation plans and teaming agreements.
- Bid Development and Negotiation: Demonstrated experience with the development and negotiation of large, highly complex bids.
- Contract Management: Experience managing a variety of contract types.
- Writing and Time Management Skills: Strong writing and time management skills.
- Integrity and Professionalism: Reputation for unqualified commitment to integrity and professionalism.
- Interpersonal Skills: Superior interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to employees and management at all levels.
- Attention to Detail: Attention to detail and organization.

- Security Clearance: Top Secret security clearance.
