Substitute Teacher: Intervention Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Substitute Teacher to join our team as an Intervention Specialist. As a Substitute Teacher, you will be responsible for providing instructional support to students in a face-to-face school setting, with a focus on intervention.
Key Responsibilities- Instruct Reading/ELA and Math to small groups of students in multiple grade levels, utilizing company-designed materials and educational strategies.
- Deliver designated instructional models in readiness, reading, mathematics, and writing skills to eligible students.
- Develop and maintain individualized skill-appropriate lesson plans using company-provided curriculum.
- Ensure supervision of students at all times, including escorting students safely to and from classrooms/learning stations.
- Perform data entry in a timely fashion to meet deadlines, including student attendance, online pre/post testing, progress reports, and parent and classroom teacher communication forms.
- Schedule and attend parent meetings/conferences.
- Establish and maintain student forms and files as required by company, local, state, and federal agencies.
- Maintain consistent communication with company supervisors, classroom teachers, principals, and parents.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Associate's Degree or higher.
- Any of the following: Teaching Certificate, Statement of Eligibility, Paraprofessional Certificate, Substitute Certificate.
- Classroom teaching, internship, and/or tutoring experience.
- Ability to teach both Math and Reading/ELA to various grade levels.
- Ability to navigate online platforms for record keeping and communication.
- Unwavering belief that all children can learn.
- A passion to help students.
