Job Title: Behavior Intervention Specialist

At Episcopal Children's Services, we are seeking a highly skilled Behavior Intervention Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Behavioral Services department, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing behavior intervention plans for children with challenging behaviors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to identify underlying factors contributing to challenging behaviors.
  • Develop and oversee behavioral interventions plans for children.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
  • Promote positive behavior and reduce challenging behaviors in children.
  • Provide direct support and interventions to children in individual or small group settings.
Requirements:
  • Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) certification highly preferred.
  • Experience working with children with special needs and challenging behaviors.
  • Strong understanding of Early Childhood Education and Applied Behavior Analysis.
