This field-based role is integral to Abbott's Vascular division, which offers innovative, minimally invasive, and cost-effective solutions for vascular disease treatment. Our extensive product lineup includes drug-eluting stents, guide wires, balloon dilatation catheters, imaging catheters, vessel closure devices, peripheral stents, thrombectomy catheters, and atherectomy devices.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the technical expert for procedures and products, providing essential support during hospital case coverage.
- Engage with current and prospective clients (e.g., physicians, hospital physician groups) to assess their clinical needs and demonstrate how our Vascular products can help achieve their objectives.
- Build relationships with hospital staff, identify key decision-makers, and establish new contacts within hospital departments.
- Serve as the primary resource for clinical support, troubleshooting, and in-service education regarding company products.
- Deliver educational presentations and demonstrations to customers, utilizing various formats to keep them informed about the latest product developments and industry trends.
- Attend clinical procedures in Cardiac Cath Labs, Interventional Radiology Labs, and Operating Rooms to ensure successful outcomes for customers and patients using Vascular products.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns regarding products and services by developing innovative solutions or collaborating with relevant personnel.
- Provide additional case support across the broader region as necessary.
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% within the assigned region.
- Experience interacting with patients in a lab or operating room setting.
- Relevant technical certification.
