Job Title: Service Technician

Are you mechanically and electrically inclined? Do you enjoy providing customers with quality service solutions? We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team at Hobart Service, an Illinois Tool Works Company.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Service Technician to work with our customers to troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial food equipment. As a Service Technician, you will work with minimal direct supervision at customer sites, meeting or surpassing weekly productivity and customer-oriented goals while maintaining a high level of customer service.

Responsibilities:
  • Work with customers to electrically/mechanically troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of commercial food equipment.
  • Typically work from home each morning and work with minimal direct supervision at customer sites.
  • Meet or surpass weekly productivity and customer-oriented goals while maintaining a high level of customer service.
Requirements:
  • An accredited High School Diploma or GED and 0-2 years of similar electrical/mechanical experience.
  • A valid Driver's License and the ability to drive multiple hours daily.
  • The ability to work Overtime and On-Call as required.
  • The ability to attend our industry-leading training at our corporate headquarters in Troy, OH.
  • Basic electrical and mechanical knowledge.
  • A strong work ethic.
