Case Support Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Case Support Specialist to join our team at Service Access & Management, Inc. This role will provide critical support to our Caseworkers in maintaining case records, assisting families and clients with paperwork, and collecting and reporting data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the maintenance of case records and ensure accurate and timely data entry.
- Support families and clients in completing necessary paperwork and forms, including birth certificates and Social Security cards.
- Collect and report data, including transportation and supervision of visits with children.
- Assist in obtaining records and completing interstate paperwork for placement.
- Support home visits, transports, and removals of children from foster care.
- Assist families and children in arranging appointments and making travel arrangements.
- Make extra home visits for Caseworkers as needed.
- Assist with holiday donations and deliveries to families.
- Participate in audits and provide support for monthly loop visits.
- Support ongoing Family Engagement Initiatives and attend required training.
Requirements:
- Associates degree in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences.
- OR 2 years of experience as a paraprofessional in a similar position and two years of college-level coursework, including 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences.
- OR Any equivalent combination of experience and training, including 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences and one year of experience in a similar position performing case aide functions.
Working Conditions:
- Prolonged periods working on a computer in an open office environment.
- Comfortable communicating through virtual technology.
- Travel throughout the assigned region may occur and may be in adverse weather conditions.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.
