Job Description

S2Technologies, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our financial management team, you will be responsible for managing financial functions across our company and related parties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Banking activities, Invoicing, reconcile multi-state payroll, establish new accounts with multi-state government departments, timesheet review, and carry out month-end close process.
  • Compile reports to show statistics such as cash receipts and expenditures, accounts payable and receivable, profit and loss, and other items pertinent to the operation of the business.
  • Work closely with Senior Management on a day-to-day basis to provide support and analysis.

Business Analysis and Internal Reporting:

  • Attention to Detail, Problem-Solving, Written and Oral Communication Skills, Project Management are essential.

Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years' relevant experience and two years' experience performing Bookkeeping and payroll activities using PROCAS.
  • Extensive knowledge of, and ability to adhere to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Proficiency using PROCAS software, or other job-cost accounting software, preferred.
  • Ability to interpret financial data and prepare reports, briefings, and/or other types of products for Executive leadership, program managers, and Project Control.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills are a must.

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have excellent computer skills, including working with accounting software, Microsoft Office applications, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required. CPA, EA, or Master's Degree in Accounting is preferred.
