Membership Manager Job Description

We're seeking a highly motivated and organized Membership Manager to join our team at Girl Scouts of North Carolina Coastal Pines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement recruitment and re-engagement strategies to increase girl and adult membership in assigned geographic areas.
  • Work closely with volunteer leadership to identify and address membership growth opportunities based on demographic analysis and community needs.
  • Promote and support council fundraising efforts, including the Fall Product Sale and Annual Cookie Sale Program.
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with donors, United Ways, members, volunteers, staff, and community contacts.
  • Demonstrate leadership by effectively managing conflict and providing support to team members.
Requirements:
  • Experience in sales, membership, recruitment, or account management preferred.
  • Ability to work with volunteers and community contacts from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, with extensive travel within the designated territory.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with bilingual Spanish a plus.
  • Commitment to Girl Scouts' Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Belonging, and Racial Justice initiatives.
