Compensation Structure:

Salary is determined by experience and certification levels, with significant earning potential available.

Role Responsibilities:

The Ford Service Technician will be tasked with diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles in line with company standards. Responsibilities include conducting inspections, identifying mechanical problems, and ensuring that all repairs are executed efficiently and accurately. Preference will be given to Senior Master Ford Technicians. However, candidates with Ford Technician training and experience are encouraged to apply. Compensation will align with experience and certifications.

Key Duties:

  • Conduct road tests to diagnose client concerns and verify repairs;
  • Perform additional assigned tasks;
  • Collaborate with Service Advisors to address client vehicle needs;
  • Participate in manufacturer-specific training sessions;
  • Execute line technician services, routine inspections, system diagnostics, and comprehensive automotive troubleshooting;
  • Continuously enhance knowledge of new technologies and practices;
  • Test-drive vehicles and assess components and systems using diagnostic tools;
  • Carry out warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications.

Qualifications:

  • Strong mechanical, diagnostic, and electrical skills
  • Basic computer proficiency for factory software usage
  • Senior Master Ford Technician certification preferred
  • Valid Driver's License required
  • Ford certifications preferred
  • Positive demeanor and a willingness to learn
  • Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
  • Mechanical troubleshooting skills and ability to use electronic diagnostic tools
  • Missouri State Inspection License required
  • B level qualifications in Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair
  • ASE Certification required
  • Ability to obtain Ford certification if not already certified
  • Team-oriented with effective collaboration skills
  • Must possess personal tools
