Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Unit Information Specialist to join our team at OhioHealth. As a key member of our Electronic ICU department, you will play a critical role in managing information, material resources, and facilitating the flow of information to expedite patient care and patient throughput.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Nurse Manager in managing information and material resources
  • Facilitate the flow of information to expedite patient care and patient throughput
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality of care
Requirements
  • High School or GED (Required)
  • Two years of experience as a Unit Clerk or in a healthcare setting
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office products
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
