Job Summary:
Reynolds Community College is seeking a Student Support Case Worker to connect students with services, resources, and benefits that address or minimize personal challenges outside of the classroom. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of college resources, enrollment processes, and college operations, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with individuals of diverse backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Connect students with services, resources, and benefits that address or minimize personal challenges outside of the classroom
  • Work with students to identify and address barriers to academic success
  • Develop and implement plans to support student success
  • Collaborate with faculty, staff, and administrators to provide a supportive learning environment
  • Provide referrals to community resources and services as needed
Requirements:
  • Working knowledge of college resources, enrollment processes, and college operations
  • Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, with individuals of diverse backgrounds
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and establish positive working relationships with faculty, staff, and administrators
  • Ability to utilize personal computers and current software programs
  • Coursework in human services or a similar field
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of student supports and essential human services
  • Some knowledge of state and federal financial aid regulations
