Job Overview

Position: Senior Tax Consultant

Location: Remote flexibility available

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in advising clients on a wide array of tax-related issues and strategies. They will also be skilled in prospecting, establishing and nurturing new client relationships, and maintaining a robust network of professional contacts.

  • Conduct thorough reviews of tax returns for both individual and corporate clients, covering federal, international, and state and local jurisdictions.
  • Oversee federal and state tax audits with precision.
  • Engage in research and provide consultation on intricate tax matters.

Required Qualifications and Skills

A minimum of 5 years of recent tax experience in a public accounting environment is MANDATORY.

  • CPA certification is essential.
  • Exceptional team leadership abilities, with a focus on motivating and guiding team members.
  • Proven ability to serve as a role model for peers and junior staff, backed by a strong professional and technical reputation.
  • Experience in specialized sectors or industries is advantageous.
  • A Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • Established or emerging reputation within the industry, complemented by a strong network of professional connections.
  • Robust background in corporate taxation and advanced technical skills.
