Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all phases of audit engagements, ensuring timely updates to engagement managers and compliance with quality control standards.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of client operations, including engagement analysis and planning.
  • Adhere to budgetary constraints while completing tasks within specified timelines, providing explanations for any discrepancies.
  • Meet charge hour objectives consistently.
  • Review and provide constructive feedback on the auditing work of associates.
  • Possibly supervise associates during engagements.
  • Mentor and train junior staff members.
  • Assist Managers or Directors with the client billing process as needed.
  • Begin to cultivate expertise in a selected specialty area.
  • Utilize industry knowledge to identify cross-serving opportunities within client engagements.
  • Engage in practice development initiatives, including membership in relevant organizations that can refer potential engagements.
  • Perform assigned administrative tasks.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Accounting or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • CPA candidate status is desirable.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting or a related field.
  • Proven ability to manage deadlines, handle multiple assignments, and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills across all organizational levels.
  • Proficient in relevant technology.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary based on client and business needs.
