Job Overview

Compass Healthcare Consulting & Placement is seeking a skilled Pediatric Nursing Program Manager to lead our Pediatric Home Care Program. This position requires an experienced Pediatric Registered Nurse who will be responsible for managing a dedicated Pediatric Clinical Team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and direction to the home health pediatric nursing staff, ensuring high-quality patient care.
  • Supervise and mentor nursing personnel, offering support and guidance as necessary.
  • Occasionally conduct field visits alongside nursing staff to ensure quality care delivery.
  • Design and implement quality assurance initiatives to comply with regulatory standards.
  • Assess and monitor the performance of the nursing team, providing constructive feedback.
  • Oversee the recruitment and onboarding processes for nursing staff.
  • Establish clear goals, objectives, and performance standards for the team.
  • Develop and enforce policies and procedures related to nursing practices.
  • Manage staff schedules to guarantee adequate coverage at all times.
  • Ensure ongoing training and educational opportunities for nursing staff.
  • Address patient concerns and inquiries promptly and professionally.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Pediatrics; prior home health experience is advantageous.
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related discipline.
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license is required.
  • Experience in supervisory roles such as RN Supervisor, RN Preceptor, RN Team Lead, or Charge RN is essential.
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership abilities.
