Sodexo is looking for a Fulltime Clinical Nutrition Specialist to join our team. This role involves collaboration with a dedicated dietitian and a team of diet technicians.

This position operates on a Monday to Friday schedule, with no weekend or holiday commitments.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the clinical team in delivering nutritional support to residents in acute care, skilled nursing, and rehabilitation settings;

Ensure compliance with DOH/state/federal regulations and company policies;

Actively participate in interdisciplinary care meetings;

Serve as a representative of the Food & Nutrition Department in collaboration with medical and nursing personnel; and/or

Assist with food service operations as required.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Basic Education Requirement:
Master's degree with completion of necessary coursework and supervised practice as mandated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:

Bachelor's degree with completion of necessary coursework and supervised practice as mandated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).

Credentials Requirement:


Must meet eligibility criteria for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) as established by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and achieve registration within 120 days of employment.

In certain states and/or facilities, RD/RDN credentials may be required at the time of hiring.

Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities, state certification/licensure may be necessary at the time of hiring.

Basic Functional Experience - 1 year of work experience in healthcare settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term care, retirement homes, or clinics + registered dietitian.
