Position Overview
AVI Foodsystems is in search of a motivated and collaborative professional to join our team as a Clinical Nutrition Specialist on a full-time basis within our healthcare facilities. This position offers flexible scheduling options, including the possibility of weekend and holiday shifts. The selected candidate will receive comprehensive training across various locations within our healthcare network.
Compensation for this role is set at $75,000 annually.

- Design, execute, and document individualized nutrition strategies
- Ensure timely follow-up and accurate documentation
- Utilize assessment and evaluation techniques that respect diverse age groups, cultures, and beliefs
- Assess the success of nutrition therapy interventions and make adjustments as needed
- Work closely with the foodservice team to guarantee dietary needs are fulfilled
- Evaluate educational requirements and provide nutrition counseling
- Participate in community initiatives and educational programs as necessary
- Conduct in-service training and educational presentations
- Effectively manage time and meet productivity expectations
- Maintain precise records of daily activities and billing information
Required Qualifications
- Applicants must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition Dietetics from an accredited institution
- Must be a Registered Dietitian (RD) certified by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and licensed in the relevant state
- Comprehensive understanding and application of nutrition services
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with patients, colleagues, and staff
- Ability to work autonomously and provide direction
- Proficiency in nutrient analysis
- Experience with word processing and spreadsheet applications
- Preferred: ServSafe Certification
