The Cook provides full-scope, hands-on production cooking in our community culinary program. This role is responsible for maintaining a superior level of quality service and cleanliness at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Exemplify community standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and operational organization.
  • Produce and serve menu cycle programs that meet nutritional and dietary criteria.

  • Visit residents periodically to evaluate food service and make revisions as needed.

Requirements
  • 1 year of restaurant or senior living cooking experience.
  • Ability to follow approved recipes and menus for regular and therapeutic diets.
  • Ability to make independent decisions and interact tactfully with residents and team members.
  • Ability to communicate directions to team members and possess good character and personal integrity.
