Job SummaryThe Cook provides full-scope, hands-on production cooking in our community culinary program. This role is responsible for maintaining a superior level of quality service and cleanliness at all times.
Key Responsibilities- Exemplify community standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and operational organization.
- Produce and serve menu cycle programs that meet nutritional and dietary criteria.
- Exhibit cooking standards of speed, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Visit residents periodically to evaluate food service and make revisions as needed.
- Maintain a sanitary work environment and conform to local codes and policies.
- 1 year of restaurant or senior living cooking experience.
- Ability to follow approved recipes and menus for regular and therapeutic diets.
- Ability to make independent decisions and interact tactfully with residents and team members.
- Ability to communicate directions to team members and possess good character and personal integrity.
