Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Central Sterilization Specialist to join our team at AdventHealth Tampa. As a key member of our Sterile Processing Department, you will be responsible for processing and sterilizing medical/surgical supplies and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and sterilize medical/surgical supplies and equipment
  • Separate and prepare contaminated supplies for cleaning
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external customers
  • Prioritize work and utilize resource lists to ensure efficient processing
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • One year experience in processing and sterilization
  • Current status as a certified registered central service technician (CRCST) or Certified Sterile Processing Distribution Tech (CSPDT)
  • Completion of educational requirements to maintain certification
