Position Overview

Support the department by executing established routine tasks effectively.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities


Patient Group Knowledge (Applicable for roles with direct patient interaction) The individual must acquire and demonstrate the necessary knowledge and skills to provide appropriate assessment, treatment, or care as defined by the department's specified patient demographics.

Specifically, the individual must be capable of demonstrating proficiency in: 1) the ability to gather and interpret information based on patient requirements; 2) understanding of developmental stages; and 3) awareness of the range of care required by patients.

Competency Requirements Must exhibit competency through an initial orientation and ongoing validation to independently execute tasks and additional responsibilities as outlined in the job description and the specific competency checklist for the unit/department.

General Duties and Responsibilities

1. Maintain and document all necessary educational requirements.

2. Exhibit positive customer service and collaborative relations with colleagues.

3. Adhere to the organization's attendance policy.

4. Engage in continuous quality improvement initiatives within the department and organization.

5. Conduct work in a cost-effective manner.

6. Perform duties in accordance with all departmental pay practices and scheduling policies, including but not limited to, overtime, various shifts, and on-call situations.

7. Execute work in alignment with the overall mission and strategic objectives of the organization.

8. Comply with organizational and departmental policies and procedures, as applicable.

9. Undertake related tasks as assigned.


Educational Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED (Mandatory)

Must be actively pursuing a formal education or training program.
