Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as primary contact for network troubleshooting and analysis of events from Managed Security Services Provider, vendors, and internal tools.
  • Document standard operating procedures for day-to-day Information Security operations and create a roadmap and implementation plan aligned with CIS controls.
  • Monitor emerging threats and assess potential impact to the company, participate in vulnerability detection and remediation efforts across the enterprise, and assist in evaluating and deploying new security solutions.
  • Develop key Information Security performance reports for senior management and create Incident Response (IR) plans and playbooks.
  • Review and recommend system-level patching for current vulnerabilities, manage internal phishing and security awareness training programs, and establish and maintain strong working relationships with team members and departments.
  • Design, implement, and maintain network security solutions, conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans, and develop and enforce security policies and procedures.
  • Manage firewalls, switches, VPNs, and network security tools, collaborate with IT teams to ensure security best practices across the organization, and stay up to date with the latest security trends and threats.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Cybersecurity.
  • 5-8 years of networking experience, including working with Cisco or Fortinet equipment, understanding of VLANs, firewall rules, and network routing.
  • Strong understanding of Information Security practices, Windows operating systems, and security practices, proficiency with Microsoft 365 (M365) technology and security features, and familiarity with CIS Critical Security Controls or similar frameworks.
  • Knowledge of Anti-Virus, Firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and OSI model, understanding of Windows Active Directory and Group Policy management, and mandatory certifications such as Security+ and Network+.
Desired Certifications:
  • Microsoft Security certification, Fortinet certification, Cisco certification, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate), and CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional).
