Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative at Schnuck Markets. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide friendly and courteous service to customers, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Product Handling: Place customers' purchases into bags, place filled bags in carts, and carry customers' purchases to their vehicles.
  • Store Maintenance: Retrieve carts from the parking lot, pick up paper and debris in the store, from the parking lot, and from carts, and stock bags on check stands.
  • Housekeeping: Empty trash from check stands and service centers, sweep and mop floors, and return merchandise left at check-out to shelves.
  • Inventory Management: Verify prices of merchandise and read and understand shelf tags.
Requirements
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to push 3 to 5 carts at a time, work outside in seasonal weather, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Availability: Must be available to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends.
  • Teamwork: Must be able to work effectively as part of a team, communicating with colleagues and management to ensure seamless operations.
Additional Requirements
  • Internal Candidates: Must have a minimum of six months employment with Schnucks, be in good standing, and have manager approval based on performance.
