- Welcomes client families and visitors at the front desk by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them courteously and appropriately.
- Answers, screens, and routes incoming calls and other general office support duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests and visitors, offering assistance when entering the building.
- Notify staff members when appointments arrive and escort guests to the appropriate room.
- Answer routine questions associated with services, products, location directions, etc.
- Immediately notify and involve management with customer service and security issues.
- Receive deceased belongings from family and follow chain of custody procedures.
- Answer, screen, and route incoming calls to the appropriate staff members.
- Maintain a comfortable environment for clients, providing beverages and other amenities as needed.
- Maintain the guest-waiting area, disposing of trash, replacing tissues, and general straightening of furniture.
- Receive incoming mail and packages.
- Maintain organized and current electronic and paper files and records.
- Perform light typing, proofreading, data entry, or printing.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Six months of general office, receptionist, or administrative support experience preferred.
- Proficient at operating office equipment.
Skills and Abilities:
- Working knowledge of MS Office Suite.
- Clear and professional speaking voice and tone.
- Professional interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
- Ability to work a schedule including weekends and beyond standard business hours.
