Job Overview

PrudentRx, LLC is in search of a detail-oriented and methodical Cybersecurity Systems Administrator eager to contribute to our expanding team. This role is pivotal in enhancing the organization's security framework and involves assessing, testing, documenting, and managing security measures to mitigate risks effectively.


Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and uphold technical systems while monitoring for any unusual or suspicious activities across various platforms.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and configuration evaluations of systems and business applications.
  • Remain informed about the evolving threat landscape and pursue continuous professional development.
  • Assist in formulating security configuration standards for systems and applications.
  • Propose innovative security solutions and enhancements to existing controls that support business innovation.
  • Engage in both technical and non-technical projects that require security oversight, ensuring compliance with policies and standards.
  • Act as a supportive member of the security team, assisting in incident response alongside the incident response and security operations center teams.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation to ensure adherence to regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors for risk assessments.
  • Serve as a point of contact for the security team.
  • Fulfill all necessary ongoing training and educational requirements as per departmental and organizational needs.
  • Perform other essential duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Required:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of experience in information security or a combination of 3-5 years in IT system administration with a focus on security.
  • Experience in system monitoring, analysis, and vulnerability management.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information assurance, management information systems, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in information security.
  • Familiarity with compliance and security frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC).
  • Certifications such as ISC2 CISSP (or Associate), GIAC GCED, GCIH, or CompTIA CASP+.
Work Environment

The employee is expected to maintain a reliable, high-speed internet connection with sufficient bandwidth to perform all job functions effectively. A dedicated workspace free from distractions is also required.

Physical Requirements

Most duties are performed in a home office setting using company-provided equipment. Regular sitting and talking are required, along with occasional standing and walking.
