- Network Architecture: Develop and maintain detailed network architecture artifacts, including network diagrams, topology maps, and security documentation.
- Cybersecurity Guidance: Provide guidance on cybersecurity best practices, including secure coding, secure configuration, and secure deployment.
- Technical Recommendations: Provide technical recommendations for the most efficient solution to meet operational requirements, including network upgrades, security patches, and system hardening.
- Integration Strategies: Develop integration strategies for proposed solutions, including network integration, system integration, and application integration.
- Research and Development: Research, evaluate, and report on new/emerging network/cybersecurity technologies to enhance performance, security, and reliability of the network.
- Program Technology Roadmap: Provide input to the program Technology Roadmap, including recommendations for future network architecture, cybersecurity solutions, and technology advancements.
- Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI clearance required.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer/Electrical Engineering, or other related field with a minimum of 5 years of experience working with complex communications networks.
- Operational Experience: Operational experience and/or knowledge of Special Operations Forces (SOF) required.
- Cybersecurity Knowledge: Knowledge of complex, cybersecurity technologies and solutions required, including VLANs, 802.1Q, TCP/IP, Routing (BGP, OSPF), Firewalling, Wireless Networking, DNS, DHCP, Windows Networking, Windows, Linux, Browser Fingerprints.
- DoD Architecture Framework: Understanding of and experience with the DoD Architecture Framework and other key DoD network architecture and strategic planning instructions required.
This position is located in the USA, FL, Tampa, and requires occasional travel (< 10%).
