Lifestyle Director Job Description

The Lifestyle Director is a key leadership role responsible for the strategic planning, development, and implementation of lifestyle programs that enhance the overall resort experience for residents and guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive lifestyle program that includes activities and events focused on social connection, spiritual well-being, physical fitness, intellectual enrichment, emotional well-being, creative expression, and fun.
  • Collaborate with the social committee and active clubs to create a seasonal calendar of events, including event planning, vendor coordination, and volunteer management.
  • Recruit and manage resident volunteers to assist with events and programs, fostering a sense of community involvement and ownership.
  • Coordinate with external vendors, caterers, entertainers, and instructors to provide high-quality services and programs.
  • Support the budget creation process and monitor the budget to ensure revenues and expenses align with departmental financial goals.
  • Establish open communication channels with owners to share ideas and gather feedback, and work closely with the social committee to enhance resident engagement and satisfaction through thoughtful and inclusive programming.

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Creative problem-solving and the ability to think on your feet.
Working Conditions:

The Lifestyle Director will work in a non-typical office environment, frequently standing, walking, talking, and moving around. The ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods is required.

Rate of Pay:

$30.00 an hour.
