Position Overview:

The Wireline Field Operator is responsible for executing wireline operations under the supervision of the Wireline Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and prepare necessary gun and setting tool components at the well site with precision and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with crew members and engineers on-site to ensure safe and efficient wireline operations.
  • Maintain and monitor equipment and tools in the field to ensure optimal performance.
  • Observe and communicate with fellow crew members regarding potential hazards, corrective measures, and safe work practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong ability to follow instructions and directives.
  • Proficient in both written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and understand the significance of teamwork.

Job Requirements:

  • Preferred minimum of 1 year of experience in the oilfield.
  • Physical capability to lift heavy equipment and tools (shooting 14+ stages per 24 hours).
  • Must be in good standing with drug and alcohol testing programs.
  • Possession of a Class A or B CDL with hazmat endorsement is required (60 days will be provided to obtain if not currently held).
  • Clear driving record for the past 3-5 years and ability to secure insurance.
  • Must maintain good standing with the ATF and pass a background check.
  • Complete all required training and industry-specific certifications.
  • Stay current with all necessary training and re-certifications.
  • Utilize proper personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
  • Ability to work in extreme weather conditions.

Physical Demands:

  • Sedentary Work
  • Light Duty: Lifting of up to 20 pounds, with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 10 pounds.
  • Medium Duty: Lifting of up to 50 pounds, with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Heavy Work: Lifting of up to 100 pounds, with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing 50 pounds or more.

Driver Criteria:

Preferred guidelines for insured drivers may allow for individual exceptions.

Driver Exclusions:

  • One or more Type A violations within a 60-month period.
  • Two or more Type B violations within a 36-month period.
  • Three or more Type C violations within a 36-month period.
  • One Type B and two Type C violations within a 36-month period.

Types of Violations Defined:

  • Type A: Includes serious offenses such as DWI, DUI, reckless driving, and other felonies.
  • Type B: Involves all vehicle accidents, regardless of fault.
  • Type C: Covers moving violations not classified as Type A or B, such as speeding and improper lane changes.
  • Type D: Non-moving violations like illegal parking and equipment issues.

Compensation: $20-25 Hourly Wage
