Position Overview:

The Wireline Operations Specialist is accountable to the Wireline Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carefully construct and assemble necessary gun and setting tool components at the job site, ensuring precision and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with team members and the engineer on-site to execute wireline operations in a safe and effective manner.
  • Monitor and maintain equipment and tools utilized in the field to ensure optimal performance.
  • Observe colleagues, communicate potential risks, suggest corrective measures, and promote safe work practices.

Essential Skills and Knowledge:

  • Ability to adhere to instructions and guidelines.
  • Proficient in both written and verbal communication.
  • Strong team player with an understanding of the importance of collaboration.

Job Requirements:

  • Preferred minimum of 1 year of experience in the oilfield.
  • Physical capability to lift heavy equipment and tools (operating 14+ stages within a 24-hour period).
  • Must maintain good standing with the drug and alcohol testing program.
  • Possession of a Class A or B CDL with hazmat endorsement required (60 days provided to obtain if not currently held).
  • Clear driving record for the past 3-5 years and ability to secure insurance.
  • Must be in good standing with the ATF and pass a background check.
  • Complete all required training and certifications specific to Noble Casing, Inc. and the industry.
  • Stay current with all mandatory training and re-certifications.
  • Utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions.

Physical Demands:

  • Sedentary Work
  • Light Duty: Lifting up to 20 pounds, with frequent lifting or carrying of objects weighing up to 10 pounds.
  • Medium Duty: Lifting up to 50 pounds, with frequent lifting or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Heavy Work: Lifting up to 100 pounds, with frequent lifting or carrying of objects weighing 50 pounds or more.

Driver Criteria:

This outlines the preferred guidelines for insured drivers, with individual exceptions considered on a case-by-case basis.

Exclusions for Drivers:

  • One or more Type A violations within a 60-month period.
  • Two or more Type B violations within a 36-month period.
  • Three or more Type C violations within a 36-month period.
  • One Type B and two Type C violations within a 36-month period.

Types of Violations Defined:

  • Type A: Includes, but is not limited to, DWI, DUI, OUI, refusal of a substance test, reckless driving, and any felony charges.
  • Type B: Encompasses all vehicle accidents, regardless of fault.
  • Type C: Covers all moving violations not classified as Type A or B, such as speeding and failure to yield.
  • Type D: Includes non-moving violations such as illegal parking and equipment violations.
