About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Breast Imaging Quality Navigator to join our team at Mass General Brigham. As a key member of our Radiology department, you will play a critical role in maintaining the highest levels of quality and efficiency in our breast imaging services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Control and Assurance: Perform regular quality control testing and ensure compliance with State and Federal regulatory guidelines.
  • Patient Care and Communication: Work directly with patients to explain and schedule recommended breast imaging exams and procedures, and ensure timely communication of results.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Generate audit reports and oversee outcomes lists, and maintain accurate and complete procedure documentation.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with other Breast Imaging network Quality Navigators and administrative teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Professional Development: Attend staff meetings, in-services, and maintain required CEUs to stay up-to-date with industry developments.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology, current ARRT certification, and Massachusetts DPH license in Radiography and Mammography.
  • Experience: Minimum of 4-5 years experience in radiology, with in-depth knowledge of mammography and breast care.
  • Certifications: Breast Care Navigator Certification required within 1 year of employment.
