About the Role:

As a Customer Service Loan Specialist at Sun Loan, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service to our clients. Your primary responsibility will be to work with customers to explain our loan offerings and conduct outreach to customers who are overdue on loan payments. You will work closely with the Branch Manager to create a positive and supportive work environment in the communities we serve.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to our clients, both in person and over the phone, to ensure their needs are met and they have a positive experience with our company.
  • Loan Processing: Receive and post loan payments in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Outreach and Collections: Contact customers who are overdue on loan payments and work with them to identify solutions for repayment, maintaining a professional and empathetic approach.
  • Administrative Tasks: Balance the cash drawer daily, make daily bank deposits, and maintain compliance with Sun Loan Company policies and procedures.
  • Support Services: Provide tax preparation support (if applicable) and network to attract new business opportunities.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and the manager to achieve branch goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • Customer Service Experience: One year of customer service experience from any industry.
  • Basic Computer Skills: Basic computer skills and ability to operate a calculator.
  • Reliable Transportation: Must have reliable transportation to travel to work and other locations as needed.
  • Availability: Ability to work Monday-Thursday 8:30am-5:30pm, Fridays 8:30-6pm, and occasional Saturdays 8:30am-12:30pm, with additional hours as required.
  • Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
