Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Superintendent to lead our retail construction projects from start to finish. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of subcontractors and EWB personnel to complete construction projects
  • Develop and implement project schedules and budgets
  • Conduct daily site inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Coordinate with clients, architects, and engineers to ensure project requirements are met
  • Manage and resolve conflicts and issues that arise during construction
  • Ensure that all construction activities are completed in a timely and efficient manner
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in a Superintendent role
  • 3+ years of experience in retail construction, hospitality, fuel stations, open store remodels, or fast food
  • Proficient in math skills, including adding, subtracting, multiplication, and division, calculating square footage, and take-off materials
  • Able to read construction documents and knowledgeable in construction methods
  • Computer skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Microsoft Project, Word)
  • Intermediate proficiency with ProCore is a plus
  • Possession of a valid CA Driver's License, good driving history, and dependable transportation is required, and pass a background check
  • Current OSHA 10 and CPR certification a plus
  • Demonstrated history of working safely and adhering to safety standards
  • Able to perform general physical tasks such as lifting items up to 50 pounds, kneeling, bending, standing, climbing, repetitive motion, use of hand tools, etc.

Salary Range

$78-$150k Salary
