Job Overview

Position Summary:

NORTHSTAR BEHAVIORAL HEALTH NETWORK LLC is dedicated to providing exceptional care for individuals facing challenges related to substance use disorders, particularly Opioid Use Disorder and Stimulant Use Disorder. Our focus also includes those requiring Intensive Residential Treatment Services (IRTS).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all visitors, staff, and clients at the facility.
  • Manage the check-in process for visitors, clients, and employees.
  • Provide comprehensive information about the programs and services offered by NBH to all stakeholders.
  • Oversee office management tasks, including supply procurement, mail handling, and general administrative functions.
  • Facilitate employee engagement initiatives and lead committees aimed at enhancing staff morale.
  • Coordinate promotional materials and merchandise for outreach and staff events.
  • Exemplify behaviors that support individuals in recovery from substance use disorders, maintaining ethical standards and consistent attendance.
  • Serve as a thought leader in optimizing office operations.
  • Participate in weekly staffing and supervision meetings as required.
  • Complete various projects assigned by supervisors to assist different departments.
  • Perform additional duties as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one year of office experience, with a preference for familiarity with substance use disorder treatment.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail are essential.
  • Proficiency in Excel and clinical database management.
  • Able to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage with a diverse range of staff and clients while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Dependable, organized, and capable of working independently.
  • Possession of a valid Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record.
  • CPR/First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days of employment.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Minimum of one year free from substance abuse.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including MS Office and Google Suite.
  • Skilled in assessing a variety of client needs.
  • Knowledge of local community resources and their application for client benefit is preferred.
  • Familiarity with the Medicated Assisted Treatment (MAT) Model is preferred.
  • Experience with Procentive or Electronic Health Record Systems is preferred.
