Starting compensation is $24.00 per hour, with an additional night shift bonus of $1 per hour.

In this position, you will be essential in ensuring the safety and security of our facility while offering guidance and support to the individuals in our care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and observe inmates to maintain a secure environment.
  • Implement facility regulations with fairness and consistency.
  • Conduct regular inspections of living quarters and communal areas.
  • Escort inmates to and from specified locations within the facility.
  • Assist in the execution of rehabilitation programs for inmates.
  • Document and report any incidents or unusual activities.
  • Collaborate with fellow staff members to promote the overall welfare of inmates.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • No prior experience in a correctional setting is necessary; comprehensive training will be provided.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Must successfully complete a background investigation and drug screening.
