Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Electrophysiology Specialist to join our team at Northeast Georgia Health System Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing neurodiagnostic procedures, including EEG, EP, IOM, LTM, and NCS, with a focus on quality and patient safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform neurodiagnostic procedures, including EEG, EP, IOM, LTM, and NCS, with a focus on quality and patient safety
  • Operate neurodiagnostic equipment according to equipment specifications and produce high-quality studies
  • Maintain patient records according to department procedure and provide accurate documentation
  • Provide patient education and support, as needed
  • Collaborate with neurologists and supervisors to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with industry advancements

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Current and Maintain BCLS
  • EEG Certification required at time of hire or within two (2) years of hire
  • At least one (1) year of supervised training/clinical experience in a lab setting
  • Experience with multiple modalities desired: EEG, EP, IOM, LTM, and NCS

Preferred Qualifications

  • Enrollment in or graduate from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited Electroneurodiagnostic Program
  • Associate's Degree or higher from an accredited college or university
  • Experience with PC and Microsoft Windows
