Position Title: Meters Customer Support Representative

Department: Service

Reports To: Field Service Manager

Employment Type: Full Time

Job Overview:

The Meters Customer Support Representative plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our clients by conducting on-site visits to gather meter readings on a regular basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain consistent communication with clients via phone or fax to collect meter data.
  2. Input meter readings into the e-Automation system.
  3. Collaborate with sales and service teams to ensure accurate tracking of equipment locations.
  4. Provide meter documentation to the respective meter representatives.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Strong customer service abilities.
  • Familiarity with equipment and client needs.
  • Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Educational Background:

Minimum requirement: High School Diploma or GED.

Physical Demands:

  • Willingness to travel to various client locations throughout the day.
  • Ability to stand or walk for the majority of the workday.
  • Manual dexterity for operating computers and telecommunication devices.
  • Visual ability to read both printed and digital documents.
  • Effective verbal communication skills.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks involving pulling, reaching, and transporting materials.

Additional Requirements:

Must possess reliable transportation and successfully complete a motor vehicle record check and drug screening.
