Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse II to join our team at UNC REX Healthcare. As a Clinical Nurse II, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our 5 West Acute Care Neuroscience unit. This is a full-time position with a standard schedule of 36 hours per week, with night shifts.

Responsibilities
  • Provide competent clinical nursing care to patients with complex neurological disorders and medical-surgical conditions.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Assess and prioritize patient needs, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing evidence-based practices.
  • Participate in education and training programs to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, promoting teamwork and open communication.
Requirements
  • Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
  • One (1) year of nursing experience.
