Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and oversee a team of engineers, technicians, and contractors to ensure timely project completion, adherence to budget, and maintenance of high-quality standards.
- Manage all phases of project life cycles, from initial conception through design, planning, execution, monitoring, control, and final closure.
- Create detailed project plans that encompass cost estimates, timelines, and resource distribution.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, codes, and standards.
- Facilitate communication and alignment on project goals with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks and challenges that may impact project delivery.
- Prepare and deliver project status updates to stakeholders and senior management.
- Promote a positive and collaborative work environment that enhances team performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in civil project management, specifically in wastewater or treatment plant projects.
- Demonstrated experience in managing treatment plant projects is essential.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and legal regulations.
- Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities.
- Outstanding problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and manage stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification is preferred.
