Job Description

Timmons Group is seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our Land Development team in Richmond, VA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing civil engineering projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop civil engineering projects, including site layout, utilities, grading & drainage, erosion control, and stormwater management.
  • Prepare specifications and materials for projects, including research and equipment catalogs.
  • Work with clients and internal design teams to ensure project success.
  • Perform field observations, inspections, and data collection duties as directed by senior engineering staff.
  • Assist in the preparation of engineering and construction cost estimates.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
  • EIT certification required.
  • 2-8 years of professional experience in Land Development civil engineering, with experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
