Position Summary:

Are you passionate about automation and mechatronics? The Digital Asset Technician role at Walmart Fulfillment Center may be the ideal opportunity for you. In this position, you will be engaged in the maintenance and repair of advanced robotic systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting both major and minor repairs on automated systems, utilizing a diverse skill set including electronics, networking, and robotics.
  • Performing inspections and tests on equipment to identify issues and ensure optimal performance.
  • Dismantling machinery to access and replace defective components as needed.
  • Utilizing blueprints and repair manuals to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.
  • Responding promptly to emergency repair requests and documenting all maintenance activities.

Work Schedule: This position requires night shifts from 7:00 PM to 5:30 AM, working four days a week.

Impactful Contributions:

  • Adhering to preventive maintenance schedules to uphold safety and functionality standards.
  • Documenting signs of wear and tear and recommending necessary repairs.
  • Managing maintenance records and work orders effectively.
  • Ordering and tracking replacement parts and equipment.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in mechatronics, automation, or related fields.
  • Proficiency with circuit boards and related technologies.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Technical certification and three years of experience in automation, robotics, or a related field, or five years of relevant experience.
  • A valid Driver's License is required.
  • Completion of a two-year vocational or technical program.
  • Familiarity with word processing and spreadsheet software.
