Job Summary

The Customer Care Specialist is responsible for acting as a liaison between internal and external customers. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to multitask, and possess a strong attention to detail.

Essential Functions

\

The following are the primary responsibilities of this role:

\

  • Provides courteous, compassionate, and respectful treatment of internal and external customers
  • Greets all callers in a pleasant manner and effectively handles their needs
  • Completes and processes documentation in an accurate and timely manner
  • Maintains a highly organized and efficient flow of information and handles multiple tasks at a time
  • Assists in the smooth flow of information and maintains ongoing communication between customers and business
  • All other duties as assigned

Additional Requirements

In addition to the essential functions listed above, the following requirements must be met:

\

  • A high school diploma or equivalent in general studies
  • 1+ year of home medical equipment experience, 1+ year of home care/hospice experience, 3+ years of customer service experience, 1+ year of hospital experience, or 1+ year of clinical experience
