Key Responsibilities- Verifies Health Insurance Information: Ensures accurate and timely verification of health insurance payment information, educating patients on applicable regulations and collecting payments.
- Data Entry and Charge Management: Performs data entry of service charges, including assignment of diagnostic codes and entry of physician and clinic-related charges, ensuring all charges are captured and properly collected.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Serves as a subject matter expert, answering general and technical questions from staff members, helping make decisions, and resolving complex issues.
- Training and Support: Provides training and support to new and existing staff, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their duties effectively.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 2-5 years of experience in a patient service representative role, with a strong understanding of front office procedures and patient flow processes.
- Supervisor Experience: No experience required, but a strong ability to lead and direct teams is essential.
- Experience: 5-10 years of experience in a patient service representative role, with a strong understanding of front office procedures and patient flow processes.
