We are in search of an experienced Power Systems Engineer to play a crucial role in the development of our upcoming data center.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop detailed Electrical Engineering CAD drawings and specifications for power supply frameworks in mining data centers.

- This encompasses site layouts, load evaluations, panel schedules, PDU specifications, rack arrangements, cable tray and conduit designs, wire sizing, and other relevant engineering activities.

- Assist in procurement by outlining electrical equipment needs, including transformers, switches, distribution panels, PDUs, cabling, cable trays, and additional electrical components, ensuring compliance with electrical Code standards.

- Provide electrical engineering expertise and technical support concerning design, project scope, equipment procurement, and more.

- During the construction phase, confirm that all equipment meets specifications and adheres to the design, ensuring that all electrical components, cables, and installations comply with industry regulations.

- Conduct necessary tests to ensure compliance with code requirements.

- Lead on-site electrical safety maintenance, which includes routine safety inspections for all electrical equipment and power supply systems to uphold a high standard of risk management, minimizing the likelihood of significant equipment downtime and accidents.


Qualifications:

TEEMA is looking for a skilled and experienced Power Systems Engineer with a background in Low, Medium, and High Voltage systems and a strong commitment to advancing industry-leading projects.

We seek a self-motivated individual with a talent for problem-solving, consistently delivering practical solutions to technical challenges. A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with a focus on Power Systems is essential. A Professional Engineer certification is required. A minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical engineering or project management is necessary. Proven professional design experience ranging from 3 to 8 years in medium and high voltage power systems and distribution is preferred. Experience in substation design is advantageous.

Proficiency in power distribution equipment, including transformers, switches, power quality, harmonic analysis, short-circuit and arc flash analysis, grounding, and lightning protection, is essential.

Competence in the MS Office suite, AutoCAD, and power system modeling software is expected. Anticipate 50%-100% travel between data centers.
