Industrial Electrician

Crown Cork & Seal USA, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Industrial Electrician to join our team in Massillon, Ohio. As an Industrial Electrician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facilities by providing electrical system support and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities- Provide electrical system support and maintenance to plant operations, including troubleshooting, repairing, and installing electrical/electronic systems.
- Follow all local, state, and federal electrical codes and regulations.
- Train others in electrical skills as required.
- Prepare workstations, install, repair, and wire electrical and electronic apparatus, devices, and circuits throughout the plant.
- Dismantle, inspect, and repair faulty parts and wiring on machinery, equipment, motors, generators, power distribution and control panels, circuit breakers, rectifiers, and electronic devices.
- Reassemble, test, and adjust equipment for safe and proper operation.
- Makes power cable splices and works hot lines as required.
- Fabricate brackets and miscellaneous parts, solder, silver solder, and brace as required.
- Cut, thread, and install conduit.
- Remove and replace obstructions, parts, and equipment to gain access to trouble areas and fulfill job duties.
- Completely wire and maintain building and structures, including lighting fixtures.
- Compute load requirements of wiring or electrical equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance.
- Three or more years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms.
- Ability to climb or balance, talk or hear, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
The Industrial Electrician will work in a plant environment and may be required to perform some job duties inside a typical office setting. The team member may be exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicular traffic, a wide range of temperatures, and a frequently loud noise level.
