The Electrical Test Engineer will be essential in ensuring the dependability and efficiency of our clients' electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities


• Testing and Commissioning: Conduct assessments on AC/DC motors, switchgear, and transformer systems to verify performance and adherence to industry regulations.


• Field Service Support: Deliver on-site testing and troubleshooting assistance for clients, which may involve supervising electrical testing, maintenance, and system commissioning.


• Technical Expertise: Apply knowledge of electrical systems to identify problems, implement corrective actions, and suggest enhancements.


• Compliance and Safety: Ensure all testing activities comply with safety guidelines and regulatory standards such as OSHA, NFPA, and IEEE.


• Reporting and Documentation: Generate comprehensive test reports, maintaining precise records of observations and corrective measures. Share results with internal teams and clients.


• Collaboration: Collaborate closely with fellow engineers, technicians, and field service personnel to guarantee smooth project execution.

Ideal Candidate Profile


• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) or Electrical Engineering Technology (EET).


• Experience: 5-10 years of pertinent experience with electric motors, switchgear, transformers, or similar electrical distribution systems.


• Technical Skills: Expertise in testing and troubleshooting AC/DC motors, switchgear, and transformer systems. Familiarity with relay coordination and experience with advanced testing tools.


• Field Experience: Experience in both workshop and field service settings is advantageous. Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.


• Communication: Excellent ability to convey technical findings clearly to both internal teams and clients.


• Safety Focused: Strong grasp of safety protocols and a dedication to maintaining a secure work environment.
