Mining DataCenter represents one of Bitdeer's pivotal business divisions.
Tracing its roots back to 2013, the team has been instrumental in offering specialized services in facility design, construction, maintenance, and comprehensive technical support.

Bitdeer Inc.
is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Power Systems Engineer with a strong background in electrical engineering and project management, who is passionate about contributing to innovative, industry-leading initiatives.
The engineer will oversee and coordinate various power systems projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets.
This position will report to the General Manager of the US Datacenter Business.Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive Electrical Engineering CAD drawings and specifications related to power supply infrastructure for mining data centers.
This includes site plans, load calculations, panel schedules, PDU specifications, rack elevations and layouts, cable tray and conduit designs, wire sizing, and other relevant engineering tasks.
- Collaborate with procurement to specify electrical equipment, including transformers, switches, distribution panels, PDUs, cabling, and cable trays, ensuring compliance with electrical code requirements.Provide expert electrical engineering recommendations and technical support on design, scope of work, and equipment procurement.
- Assist with cost allocation/estimation, budgeting, resource planning, scheduling, and project management.Establish technical standards in reviews, documentation, and designs.
- During construction, verify that all equipment meets requirements and adheres to design specifications, ensuring compliance with standards and completion of necessary tests to satisfy code requirements.Lead on-site electrical safety maintenance, including regular safety checks for all electrical equipment and power supply infrastructure to mitigate risks and prevent downtime or accidents.
- Provide electrical technical support for new site developments.Engage in power system modeling, analysis, and design, with experience in medium and high voltage distribution systems.
- Design grounding and lightning protection systems while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations to uphold the company's reputation.Facilitate communication of engineering information across teams and departments to ensure successful completion of large-scale projects.
- Troubleshoot and resolve unforeseen issues.Collaborate with internal stakeholders in the US and Asia.
Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power Systems.
- Professional Engineer certification is advantageous but not mandatory.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical engineering or project management.
- 3 to 8 years of verifiable professional design experience with medium and high voltage power systems and distribution.
- Substation design experience is preferred.
- Proficient knowledge of power distribution equipment, including transformers, switches, power quality, harmonic analysis, short circuit and arc flash analysis, grounding, and lightning protection.
- Fluency in MS Office Suite, AutoCAD, and power system modeling software.
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to collaborate with other design professionals.
- Sensitivity to time, costs, and deadlines.
- Capacity to analyze problems from multiple perspectives and explore innovative solutions.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel to various locations.
