Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Guest Services Representative to join our team at Martini Modern Italian. As a Guest Services Representative, you will be responsible for creating a positive and memorable experience for our guests, ensuring that they feel welcome and valued throughout their visit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Exemplify exceptional hospitality standards, providing genuine and personalized service to our guests.
  • Adhere to high standards of professional appearance, personal cleanliness, and proper attire, maintaining a confident and friendly demeanor at all times.
  • Utilize effective communication skills to greet guests, show them to their table, and distribute menus, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable dining experience.
  • Memorize the restaurant's floor plan, enabling you to efficiently navigate and provide exceptional service to our guests.
  • Communicate frequently with management on duty regarding guest flow and preferences, ensuring that our guests receive the highest level of service.
  • Assist management and other associates as needed, promoting teamwork and dependability throughout the restaurant.
  • Exhibit punctuality and dependability, ensuring that you are consistently at work on time and in full uniform.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; one to three months of related experience and/or training preferred.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and menu descriptions.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests and other associates.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, as well as accept all types of payment and make change.
  • Knowledge of or experience with point of sale systems a plus.

Working Conditions:

  • Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to focus required.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests and other associates.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of restaurant experience preferred.
