We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Host to join our Food and Beverage team at Pelican Bay Foundation Inc. As a Host, you will be the first point of contact for our members and guests, providing a warm and welcoming experience that sets the tone for their visit.
Key Responsibilities- Greet members and guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a seamless arrival experience.
- Escort members and guests to their tables, providing menus and informing them of daily specials.
- Address and resolve any immediate member or guest concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage the seating chart to ensure an even distribution of tables among servers.
- Answer phone calls and handle reservations in a courteous and efficient manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized host stand, including menus and reservation lists.
- Assist servers and other staff as needed during busy periods to ensure a seamless dining experience.
- Minimum of three (6) months of Host experience in the hospitality industry.
- Experience delivering outstanding customer service while collaborating with other team members to ensure member satisfaction.
- Ability to use POS technology effectively.
- Ability to meet physical requirements: standing, walking, and carrying up to 30 pounds.
- Must have effective verbal and written communication skills.
