Job Opportunity: Capital Projects Intern

About the Role:
  • We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to assist our Capital Improvements team in tracking and maintaining comprehensive records of capital improvement projects, specifically for roofs, boilers, and electrical panels across our communities.
  • The successful candidate will develop and maintain standardized templates for common CAPEX projects and renovations, collaborate with project managers and site teams to gather project status updates, and conduct quality reviews of trackers, completed work, projections, and estimates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a tracking system for capital improvement projects, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data.
  • Collaborate with project managers and site teams to gather project status updates and ensure accurate data entry.
  • Conduct comprehensive quality reviews of trackers, completed work, projections, and estimates to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Assist in organizing and updating project records, including budgets, timelines, and work completion.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a college degree in Business Admin, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Eagerness to learn about infrastructure and capital improvement processes, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
