Automotive Title Coordinator

We are seeking an Automotive Title Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of motor vehicle title documents.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of title administration processes and procedures, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills. You will work closely with our commercial teams to translate customer needs into correct and timely solutions, while maintaining adherence to company policies and regulations.

In this role, you will:

  • Review and execute title-related correspondence to ensure legal enforceability and compliance with company policies
  • Analyze title correspondence to identify potential issues and develop solutions
  • Work with Litigation and Recovery and Asset Management teams to resolve title-related issues
  • Ensure proper tracking of outstanding titles and follow up on original titles
  • Interface cross-functionally with various departments to resolve pre- and post-booking title related issues

You will also contribute to ongoing policy and procedure review and development, stay current on related regulatory and judicial matters, and recommend changes as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience
  • 1+ year(s) experience in the financial services industry or in a title administrative role is preferred
  • Knowledge and proficiency in leasing/financing of motor vehicle titled assets preferred
  • Knowledge and proficiency in title administration related requirements
  • Demonstrated success in current and former positions

Salary: $27-$31 per hour, depending on experience.
