Overview:
Responsible for executing Quality Audits and Inspections.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


The primary objective of the quality initiative is to systematically audit and document through inspection all internal workflows to guarantee that our clients receive products free from discrepancies, defects, or missing elements.


  • Conduct thorough evaluations of operator workflows and perform visual assessments of printed and inserted outputs from designated machinery, ensuring that products align with quality and accuracy specifications during their operational shift.
  • Assess the scope of work, interpret, and comprehend client requirements on job work tickets, including all materials to be utilized.
  • Halt production on all non-compliant defects, including but not limited to unclear, misplaced/missing print, print overlap, duplicate printing, absent inserted packages, improperly stuffed envelopes, missing stock components, absent pages, and incorrectly positioned outgoing/return addresses.
  • Record rejected materials that do not meet specifications, marking any and all items with a red HOLD form, and inform supervisors/leads to segregate these materials to the HOLD area for further evaluation by the lead, manager, or customer service representative.
  • Engage in collaborative team brainstorming sessions to troubleshoot and establish new procedures.
  • Identify and relay opportunities for enhancements in quality control to the QA Lead and Quality Assurance Manager.
  • Adhere to all existing and forthcoming security and compliance protocols.
  • Undertake additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the QA Lead and/or Quality Assurance Manager.

EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS

Education/Experience:
High school diploma with a minimum of 4 years of experience in the Letter/Mail sector.

Knowledge and Skills:
A solid background in quality control or quality assurance is essential.

Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies is preferred. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook, is required. The candidate should possess a working knowledge of report writing and be capable of preparing professional verbal and written communications.

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to bend and stand for extended periods, as well as lift up to 35 lbs.
