Overview:
As a Senior Quality Assurance Automation Specialist, you will be part of a dynamic team comprising product managers, designers, and engineers dedicated to developing digital solutions that are utilized by a vast audience.
Main Duties:
- The Senior Quality Assurance Automation Specialist leads and collaborates with teams, enterprise partners, and vendors to deliver cutting-edge digital solutions through the development of adaptable and dependable applications.
- Engages proactively in product and business discussions, applying a technical perspective to assess feasibility and ensure alignment with overarching roadmaps and architectural strategies.
- Fosters a culture of strong collaboration and partnership with engineers, domain architects, product leaders, stakeholders, and partners to facilitate the execution of roadmaps, negotiate priority adjustments, and communicate impacts effectively.
- Collaborates with developers and stakeholders to gain a comprehensive understanding of business or technical requirements.
- Develops and executes test cases, validating them to ensure that requirements are fulfilled and that stories reach the 'Done' status.
- Investigates testing trends and industry best practices to enhance testing methodologies.
- As a Senior Quality Assurance Automation Specialist, you will document and assist in resolving complex challenges and issues.
- Conducts both manual and automated testing to ensure product quality.
- Analyzes and researches product features under test.
- Evaluates user interfaces for consistency and functionality.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Top 5 Required Skills:
- Proficiency in automation testing for mobile and API applications.
- Strong knowledge of RESTful API integration, Mockito, Appium, scripting, and AWS Device Farm.
- Expertise in CI/CD development practices.
- Experience in troubleshooting post-production deployment issues.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in ensuring quality for iOS and Android mobile applications.
- Extensive experience in automation testing utilizing Appium.
- Technical understanding of digital platforms, cloud computing, and APIs.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to thrive in an Agile/SCRUM environment.
- Familiarity with version control tools such as Git (GitLab).
- Competence in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with Agile tools that facilitate tracking of iterative development.
- Exposure to the retail sector, particularly with e-commerce applications.
